Born and raised in Darlington, SC. I managed a Plumbing Supply in Florence, SC before moving to Charleston where I took a Supply House Managing Job in the Water & Sewer, Pump & Well and Irrigation Markets with Hughes Supply.

Through my 30 year Management Career in the Water & Sewer Market in Charleston, I worked for Hughes Supply, Ferguson Waterworks and Seacoast Supply.

I am Currently Enjoying my position with Coastal Premier Homes as Purchasing Manager.

Some of my Main Duties as Purchasing Manager Include the following:

  • Identifying Products to be Purchased
  • Work with Home Owners on their Selections
  • Seek Out and Verify Suppliers
  • Monitor and Forecast Items to be Purchased
  • Negotiate Pricing with Vendors
  • Managing Vendor Rebates
  • Managing the Purchasing Budget for Each Job
  • Working with Construction Manager Daily
  • Compiling and Maintaining Purchase records plus many other Duties
